Johanna Wilson, MD
Dr. Johanna Wilson is a trained general psychiatrist. Dr. Wilson is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from an accelerated BS/MD program at Kent State University and in the top 10% of her class from Northeast Ohio Medical University. She was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She received her general psychiatry training and served as chief resident at The Ohio State University. During her psychiatry training, she developed a special interest in adolescent psychiatry and received training in emergency psychiatric assessments, inpatient treatment of adolescents, as well as long term outpatient treatment of adolescents. She enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and families, and looks forward to the development of long term physician-patient relationships. Dr. Wilson believes that wellness can only be achieved through a multi-faceted therapeutic approach in which the patient takes charge of living a balanced life.
