Emily is a licensed independent social worker with the training to diagnose and treat a wide range of disorders using individual, family, and group interventions. She received her master’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University. Emily Rose Talbott is the Clinical Director for Providers for Healthy Living. She is a licensed independent social worker supervisor with the training to diagnose and treat a wide range of disorders using individual, family, and group interventions. Emily received her master's degree in social work from The Ohio State University. She has provided individual, group, and family counseling in community mental health centers and at The Ohio State University Harding Hospital. Her clinical strengths include working with children, teens and adults with emotional and behavioral disturbances (particularly Oppositional Defiant Disorder, anxiety disorders, depression, and ADHD) as well as working closely with parents to develop strategies to address the challenges of raising children with emotional and behavioral issues. Emily has a special interest in treating Obsessive-compulsive Disorder in adults, children and teens. Emily uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) strategies effectively to treat anxiety disorders and mood disorders and enjoys group therapy. Emily is certified by and a diplomat of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.
