Melanie Pond, LISW
Melanie Pond, LISW, is a licensed independent social worker trained to diagnose and treat emotional and mental disorders. She has a master's degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University. Melanie has experience working with children and their families in school and residential settings. Prior to joining Providers for Healthy Living, Melanie was a school clinician at St Vincent Family Center where she provided a variety of mental health services in the partial hospitalization and residential programs. Melanie has specialized training in trauma focused care including the Neurosequential model of trauma informed care. Melanie has worked with children and adolescents with oppositional defiant disorder, mood disorders, learning disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and attachment disorders.
