Child therapies are incredibly varied and are dependent upon the behavior, age, and history of each child. It is the job of Providers For Healthy Living to fully assess each child and come up with a personalized plan for him or her. In some cases, the underlying issue of your child's behavior is very straightforward, but in some cases the cause is not clear. If your child seems to be having sudden developmental delays, learning or attention problems, behavioral problems, aggressiveness, mood swings, or other troubling behaviors, it may benefit you to seek help from one of our health providers or licensed therapists.
Adolescent and College Student Therapy
Adolescents and college students are complex individuals who face many complex issues. The stresses placed on teenagers and young adults today are many, and all too often take a toll. At Providers For Healthy Living, getting to the root cause of your anxiety, stress, fears, substance abuse or other concerns is integral to helping you cope. If you find yourself depressed, anxious or worried, unable to cope, dealing with grief or loss, distracted at work or school, unable to sleep, or having other problems, our providers and therapists are here to help.
Group therapy is a form of therapy in which one or more therapists host a small group of individuals who suffer from similar symptoms or problems. Sharing with others with similar difficulties helps you gain strength and hope. Providers For Healthy Living has several group therapies that provide an integral part of our healing process. Recent groups include cognitive therapy skills review, trauma support group, anxiety support group, social skills group, depression and anxiety group, and anger management group.
